Visitors to the Unlimited Festival have known about “JazzmbH Kufstein” for quite some time. The core instrumental lineup includes keyboard player and bandleader Julius Lüthi, bassist Artur Egger and drummer Klaus Steidl, who have been playing as a trio for more than thirty years. Recently the band has been completed by the versatile female vocalist Mili Poblete. They are also regularly joined by top soloists, most recently the renowned special guests and star saxophonist Florian Bramböck. Member of the former “Vienna Art Orchestra”, he teaches jazz saxophone at the Tyrolean State Conservatory in Innsbruck and the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, works as a composer, and leads the Jazz Orchestra of Tyrol. His exceptional musical talent was commended in 2016 when he was awarded the Tyrolean State Prize for Art. The full-blooded musician plays original compositions and interesting arrangements. The quintet “JazzmbH Kufstein feat. Florian Bramböck” is dedicated to sophisticated jazz, playing pieces from the classic and modern vocal repertoire in independent, groovy interpretations. The Chilean-born singer Mili Poblete sings a Latin number or two in Spanish or Portuguese.
