Since their foundation in 2003, Krautschädl have played over a thousand gigs at home and abroad, three long-players beloved by fans and critics alike entered the charts, won an Amadeus award and successfully created their own genre under the fancy name “Goschnrock”. Songs like Feiah Fonga, Da Wein, Bäckerschupfn or Khoids Wossa are veritable evergreens and frenetically celebrated on the Nova Rock festival, in the ORF studio, in your hometown’s beer tent, your mum’s bedroom, in the Austrian Liederberg and on international symposia on Husserl's Phenomenology of Spirit. With their current „Immer mit da Ruhe“ the guys from Welser Schlachthof are singing choruses and in broadest dialect. Obligatory is Karacho, pop appeal and cranked-up Upper Austrian dialect. By the way, David Bronner, Wurst producer and meanwhile famous by the Song Contest could be brought on board for the second time. In any case, the band “takes no prisoners” on its new long-player, pulling out all the stops with twelve top-class songs from funk to metal thus making absolutely clear who the dominating boss is within its territory!
