In summer 2017, Trails set off from Munich to record a very special debut album in the heat of the American Southern States. The cooperation with renowned producer Rick del Castillo, who already composed unforgettable film soundtracks for Quentin Tarantino (Kill Bill: Vol.2) and Robert Rodriguez (Once Upon a Time in Mexico), in Austin, Texas (USA) took more than a month. In addition, more than 10 top-class session musicians performed. This extraordinary constellation was the breeding ground for a very special 'Urban Western' sound. The debut album 'Desert Lullabies' convinces with honest handmade music. On 12 multifaceted songs, Trails combine organic guitar work with sounds of traditional instruments (such as banjo, violin, cello and double bass) in an unmistakable manner. The focus is on songwriting and the unadulterated sound of real instruments to return to the core of a good song in times of overproduced music. The works create a dense atmosphere and tell stories with personal lyrics and haunting metaphors. Besides music, singer Patrick Roche lends his voice to international actors (including Jon Snow in 'Game of Thrones'), while Luca Wollenberg holds a PhD in neuroscience. After the first USA concerts and the first headline tour through Germany in November 2017, Trails and their five-member live band are performing in various clubs and festivals in Germany and Austria in 2018.
